Privacy policy

This explains what personal data Khareedhi collects, why, who it goes to, and your rights over it. We collect only what we need to run your account and pay your cashback, and we never sell personal data.

What we collect

Account: your name, email address and password (stored only as a one-way hash, never readable).
Clicks: when you tap a Shop or deal link — which store, which offer, the time, and a scrambled code made from your IP address (not the address itself), to spot fraud.
Orders: what the affiliate network reports for orders tracked to your account — the store, the store’s order number, order value, our commission, the date and time, and its status. Depending on the store, this can also include the products or categories in the order, the IP address the order was placed from, the page you came from and technical details of the click. Networks don’t send us your delivery address or how you paid.
Withdrawals: the UPI ID you enter and the payment reference. We never collect card or bank account numbers.
Claims and messages: what you send us about missing orders or anything else.

Why we use it

To run your account and show your wallet.
To match orders to your clicks, calculate cashback and pay it to you.
To answer your claims and questions.
To prevent fraud and abuse — for example by checking that an order and the click before it came from the same place — and to meet legal and tax duties.
To email you about your account and cashback. We send offers by email only if you ask us to.

Who receives it

Affiliate networks and stores (for example Admitad): when you follow a link we add a code like u123 so the network can tell us which member an order belongs to. The code doesn’t contain your name or email. The store and network then handle your visit under their own privacy policies.
Your UPI provider and ours, when we pay you.
Service providers that host or protect the site (Cloudflare) or send our emails, only to do that job for us.
Authorities, where the law requires it.

Cookies

Khareedhi uses cookies only to keep you signed in and to protect forms. We don’t use advertising or tracking cookies. When you go to a store, the store and its affiliate network set their own cookies to credit the order; those are covered by their policies.

How long we keep it

Account, order and payout records are kept while your account is open and for up to 8 years after the last payment, because financial records must be kept that long. Click records without a matching order are deleted after 12 months, and IP addresses, product details and click details received with an order are removed from it 12 months after the order. When you delete your account we remove your name and email and keep only the anonymous financial records the law requires.

Your rights

Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you can ask us for a summary of the personal data we hold about you, have it corrected or completed, have it erased, and name someone to act for you. You can withdraw your consent at any time by closing your account. Write to [email protected] from the email address on your account; we reply within 7 days. If you’re not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

Security

The site uses encrypted connections (HTTPS) throughout. Passwords are hashed, payout details are limited to UPI IDs, and access to member data is restricted to the person who runs Khareedhi.

Changes

If we change this policy, the date at the top changes, and we email members about changes that affect how their data is used.
